Blutech Selected for Wistron Accelerator #2, Showcasing Strength in the Capital Winter

Blutech was selected to join Wistron Accelerator #2 and made its official debut at the Demo Day on the 14th, showcasing its strength in the IIOT field as one of the seven teams chosen.

Since its establishment in 2015, Blutech has focused on LPWAN wireless communication technology and the integration of OT devices. The company has developed its own hardware and software platforms to help clients bridge OT and IT data for presentation and analysis. After several product and business direction adjustments, Blutech has gradually gained market traction, riding the wave of net-zero carbon emissions and energy transformation. It has attracted more large clients across major energy-consuming industries, including petrochemical, textiles, and steel.

“With the gradual realization of IoT, we use a painless, no-liability sales strategy to lower the barriers to entry for customers, allowing them to experience the convenience that data brings,” said Han Guo, Sales Director of Blutech. “Our goal is to solve the pain points of traditional wired installations with remote wireless transmission. Our WSDMS wireless instrument-electrical transmission system can cover 80% of sensor transmission needs. In terms of overall cost, deployment time, and system uptime, we have significantly simplified the IIOT deployment process. Now, customers can see the instrument-electrical data from their plants in just a few days. WSDMS itself is a low-carbon product, minimizing labor hours during deployment and reducing costs and materials for physical wiring. This is also the design philosophy behind our product.”

Wistron has been collaborating with AppWorks since 2014, maintaining a long-term strategic partnership and mutual understanding. In September 2021, they launched the “Wistron Vertical Accelerator” for the first time, with AppWorks providing core services such as operations. This year, Wistron has recruited seven teams from markets including Taiwan, the United States, India, and Hong Kong.

AppWorks Chairman and Partner, Chih-Chen Lin, stated, “In the capital winter, those who weren’t prepared have already exited, leaving only the strong entrepreneurs!” He also reaffirmed his confidence in the Blutech team.

At this Demo Day, Blutech showcased its NeVerLoSs LoRa® Remote Smart Instrument System (WSDMS), which has already been deployed at Wistron’s headquarters in Xizhi. The system has been in operation at Far Eastern Advanced for several years, delivering significant energy savings and reductions in carbon emissions annually.
