Blutech has been invited to participate in Cisco’s Kaohsiung AIoT Asia Bay Smart Port Project. The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed by the Kaohsiung City Government Economic Development Bureau, Kaohsiung Port Authority, and Cisco Taiwan, with the event witnessed by Deputy Minister of Transportation Lin Kuo-hsien, Cisco Global Innovation Chief Guy Diedrich, Taiwan International Ports Corporation Chairman Lee Hsien-yi, and Kaohsiung Mayor Chen Chi-mai.
The Cisco Kaohsiung AIoT Asia Bay Smart Port Project aims to develop and apply artificial intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies at Kaohsiung Port to enhance operational efficiency and safety, reduce electricity and energy costs, and lower carbon emissions. The project also seeks to nurture local talent and create an AIoT ecosystem to assist local businesses in digital transformation and expanding into new Southbound markets. Leveraging Blutech’s advanced technology in smart energy and carbon monitoring systems alongside Cisco’s expertise in networking and cybersecurity, the project aims to transform Kaohsiung Port into a smart, automated, and secure modern port.
