Blutech Wins Again: Taiwan-Malaysia Collaboration Shines in Green Tech Innovation

Blutech earned the honor in the International City category of the Green Technology Startup Competition, organized by Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs. This award is our second recognition, following a previous award two years ago.

This year, the Ministry partnered with the Selangor government in Malaysia to present local green tech challenges. Taiwanese startups provided solutions, highlighting innovation and international collaboration to bring Taiwan’s green technologies to global markets.

Solving Carbon Emission Analysis Challenges in Malaysia

With strong experience in energy data processing, Blutech successfully deployed its solution at Sunway Lagoon, also known as the “Disneyland of Malaysia.”

In 2025, the competition invited the government of Selangor, Malaysia, to present local environmental challenges.
Taiwanese startups were tasked with creating real-world, scalable solutions.

Our team overcame the challenge of long-distance wireless transmission in a complex outdoor environment. Also connected with Malaysia’s national carbon emission data from the electricity provider, allowing for accurate carbon calculations of Entomal black soldier fly food waste facility.

After nearly six months of on-site testing in Malaysia, the project was selected as a winning startup at the Smart City Summit & Expo in Taipei in 2025.

This was the first international application of Blutech’s Eenergy Management system combined with NeVerLoSs wireless technology. Blutech helped partner digitize food waste energy data, enabling IoT-based tracking of emissions and energy use. This solution is expected to speed up the adoption of food waste bioconversion in Malaysia and help them move closer to its carbon neutrality goals.

AI-Powered Energy Forecasting Expands from Chips to Clinics

Over the past two years, Blutech has deployed its solutions in more than 65 large-scale sites across Taiwan. These projects cross various industries such as semiconductors, healthcare, and airline. Notably, 70% of our clients are listed companies. This track record has established Blutech as a leader in wireless energy monitoring and Energy Management System.

Looking ahead, Blutech will continue to strengthen its AI-based energy forecasting systems. Moreover, we aims to provide smart energy solutions across industries—helping businesses drive green transformation and move closer to global net-zero goals.
